Yong Kwon is a forward-thinker, who has worked to expand the business reach of clients big and small, for more than a dozen years. 

Since graduating from the University of Houston in 1995, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Yong has been an active contributor to the growth and influence of the Internet community. She has been involved with diverse projects across many industries, and has received national attention for her efforts, including several Addys – a prestigious award given by the American Advertising Federation.  Yong has:

• Led a large scale project to implement an online, paperless loan application process for Freddie Mac.
• Enabled a more cohesive Internet presence for Compaq (now HP) out to the world, and improved internal communications with a more effective Intranet.

Yong has achieved similar accolades in the world of print, with some of her work recently published in an International design book.

In 2003 she successfully launched her own design business. ykcreative is a full-service graphic design firm that focuses on helping clients to grow demand for their products and services, online.

Yong believes in helping to empower women, and has served for two years on the Board of Directors for the Houston PBS, supporting a women’s conference, Living Smart. She also donates her time and talents to support local charities.
